The Eight Shades

Harvest Blonde — light value, formulated for a true light blonde heal. For F1–F2 clients with very light blonde, platinum, or grey hair where standard "blonde" pigments heal too dark.

Taupe — light-value neutral brown. The bridge shade for dark blonde/light brown clients where Harvest Blonde is too light and Brunette is too heavy. Neutral mass tone reads naturally across a wide range of light-to-medium hair tones.

Brunette — medium value, neutral undertone. The most-used shade in most studios. Covers the largest segment of the client population — medium brown hair across F2–F4 — without pushing warm or cool on its own.

Forest Brown — medium value, neutral mass tone. Sits in the same neutral medium-brown territory as Brunette with a slightly cooler neutral character. Having both gives granular control over exactly where in the neutral mid-brown range the healed result lands.

Espresso — dark value, cool overtone. Rich deep brown with a slight ash quality — not black, not warm. For F3–F4 clients with naturally dark brown hair where a warm dark reads reddish and a pure black reads too harsh.

Mallard — medium value, cool mass tone and undertone. The distinctly cool-neutral medium brown for clients with naturally ash or grey-brown hair — common in Northern European and some East Asian complexions. A warm brown on this client reads off-temperature; Mallard stays in the same colour family as cool-toned hair.

Blackish Brown — deepest shade in the set. Cool dark brown approaching black without fully committing to it. For F4–F5+ clients with very dark or jet-black brow hair. Almost always used with Blazing Copper on warm-toned clients — on its own it can heal with a grey cast against warm complexions.

Blazing Copper — the modifier. Not a standalone brow colour — a warm orange-based temperature correction tool. Small additions shift cool shades toward neutral; larger additions make them clearly warm. Examples: Blackish Brown + 10% Blazing Copper removes the grey cast on warm F4–F5 skin; Mallard + 15% Blazing Copper shifts cool-medium brown to warm-neutral for olive complexions; even Brunette benefits from 5–10% on strongly warm-undertone clients.
